I tend to approach most mental health struggles through the lens of trauma. Be it "little t trauma" or "Big T Trauma," often issues of depression, anxiety, chronic illness, or difficulties with others have roots in our most trying times. I try to combine that insight with practical tools, learning to access and tolerate our feelings, and ways to calm our bodies.

I try to find balance in all of my approaches. If you tend to intellectualize, for example, you might be comfortable with a psychodynamic or CBT approach in which we understand the sources of your struggles, but you might also benefit from a TRM/somatic approach to release trauma from the body or EFT/EFCT to help you sit in your feelings and to repair attachment wounds.
